AFL FUSEConnect® Splice-On Connectors, ST Multimode 62.5/125 OM1, 6 Pack
The FUSEConnect® fusion-spliced, field-installable connectors are uniquely designed and feature only four to five components. The factory pre-polished ferrule eliminates the need for polishing, adhesives, and crimping in the field, which minimizes the potential for operator error and expensive connector scrap.
FUSEConnect® connectors utilize a fusion splicer to terminate the connector in the field, addressing return loss concerns present in analog optical networks. This advanced process yields true APC performance for SC/APC and LC/APC configurations, and is compliant to GR-326-CORE. FUSEConnect is compatible with Fujikura fusion splicers and most other fiber holder-based fusion splicing platforms.
900um boots are included and we also offer 2mm fiber boots and 3mm fiber boots that are sold separately.
Don't forget your FUSEConnect® Tool Kit which includes standard fiber preparation tools and cleaning supplies as well as a FUSEConnect® accessory kit and cord splitter tool. The cord splitter tool is uniquely designed to open the cordage of 2 mm and 3 mm cable allowing the termination of the ST and FC type connectors on simplex cordage.
